Every project, start to finish.
Every site we have built for a trade business, with the thinking behind it. Each one is live, and each one is still ours to support.
Dusk Solar
solarA five-page site for a ground mount solar contractor working across Nova Scotia. The whole thing is built around one distinction the client kept having to explain on the phone: they build on the ground, not on your roof. That line leads the homepage, and the rest of the site backs it up rather than burying it under generic solar copy.
Pole mounted arrays, EV charging stations and offgrid systems each get their own section, so a homeowner comparing quotes can find the one that matches their property. The dark, low-contrast treatment came from the client’s own site photography — most of it shot at dusk — and the gallery is wired to a content collection, so new installs go up without touching a template.

Boreal Field Fence
fencingTwo brothers running field fence on acreages outside Halifax, with a very clear idea of who they are selling to. The homepage says what the fence actually does — keeps the dog in and the coyotes out — instead of listing wire gauges, and the rest of the site earns that claim with the work behind it.
The services page walks the job in order: clearing the line, setting the posts, running and tensioning the wire. Buyers pricing a long run want to know what they are paying for before they ask for a number, so the process is the sales pitch. Green and cream throughout, with the brothers’ own site photography carrying the seasons.

Tidewater Drafting
draftingA two-person Halifax studio producing permit-ready construction documents for architects, builders and homeowners. Their work is precise and unglamorous, so the site is too: black on off-white, generous margins, and drawings reproduced large enough to actually read.
Each gallery entry is a real set rather than a render — a hillside bungalow carrying grade, contours, setbacks and roof pitches on the site plan. Reviews sit next to the work, and a short FAQ answers the questions that used to arrive by email before every first job: where they are licensed, what they need from you, and what a set costs.
